Job Description
Sanofi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our dynamic Pulmonary team. In this remote role, you will serve as a critical scientific link between Sanofi and the medical community across Southern California, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii, fostering peer-to-peer scientific exchange and advancing understanding of our innovative pulmonary therapies. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating complex scientific data into actionable insights, ultimately improving patient care.
Job Overview
This Senior MSL position focuses on building and maintaining strong, credible relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) within the pulmonary disease landscape. You will be responsible for disseminating scientific information, gathering insights on treatment practices and unmet needs, and supporting the company’s medical strategy through expert engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with KOLs and HCPs through scientific exchange, presentations, and discussions on relevant scientific and clinical data.
- Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals.
- Identify and engage with emerging thought leaders in the pulmonary field.
- Gather and communicate insights on the pulmonary landscape, including treatment trends and unmet medical needs.
- Support clinical trial activities by identifying potential sites and investigators.
- Present scientific data at medical congresses and other scientific forums.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on respiratory/pulmonary diseases.
- Demonstrated understanding of the US healthcare system and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned geographic territory (S. CA/NV/UT/HI).
