The Manager, Product Design at Reliance HMO will lead the organization’s design strategy, ensuring consistent, high-quality user experiences across products. This role involves managing a design team, improving design systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership and Strategy

• Own and continuously improve the company’s design system across all platforms
• Establish and enforce design standards, processes, and best practices
• Ensure consistency and scalability through proper use of design patterns
• Maintain high-quality design outputs across all products

User Experience and Research

• Drive improvements in user experience using data, insights, and feedback
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer journey analysis
• Identify opportunities to optimize product experiences
• Perform competitive analysis to uncover trends and opportunities
• Translate research findings into actionable design solutions

Team Management and Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing design team
• Set clear expectations and support team growth and development
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of design talent

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
• Align design initiatives with product and business objectives
• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder engagement
• Communicate design decisions clearly through presentations and documentation

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices
• Integrate new ideas into design systems and workflows
• Ensure all design processes follow end-to-end methodologies from research to delivery

Job Requirements

To qualify for the Manager, Product Design at Reliance HMO role, candidates should meet the following:

• Minimum of 6 years experience in product design or UX roles
• At least 2 years experience leading and managing a design team
• Proven experience in senior UX or product design leadership roles
• Strong proficiency in Figma
• Solid understanding of UX methodologies and tools such as Maze
• Experience managing end-to-end design processes and design systems
• Ability to translate research insights into practical design improvements
• Strong documentation skills for engineering handoff

Preferred Qualifications
