Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities’ laundry services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable and healthy environment for our staff and visitors. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines. Your role will be crucial in supporting the smooth operation of our facilities, and we are looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, and committed to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

* Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items, ensuring they are clean and hygienic
* Operate and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any faults or issues to the relevant personnel
* Manage laundry supplies, monitoring stock levels and requesting replenishments as needed
* Iron and press laundry items, ensuring a high standard of presentation
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to health and safety protocols
* Assist with the distribution and collection of laundry items, ensuring timely and efficient service
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service
* Perform other duties as required, supporting the facilities management team in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment

Requirements

* Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver laundry items, with attention to safety protocols
* Basic knowledge of laundry procedures, equipment, and supplies, with the ability to learn and adapt to new processes
* Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation
* Ability to work in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and maintain a high level of productivity and motivation
