Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities’ laundry services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable and healthy environment for our staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities

* Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items, ensuring they are clean and hygienic
* Operate and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any faults or issues to the relevant personnel
* Manage laundry supplies, monitoring stock levels and requesting replenishments as needed
* Iron and press laundry items, ensuring a high standard of presentation
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to health and safety protocols
* Assist with the distribution and collection of laundry items, ensuring timely and efficient service
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service
* Perform other duties as required, supporting the facilities management team in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment

Requirements

* Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver laundry items, with attention to safety protocols
* Basic knowledge of laundry procedures, equipment, and supplies, with the ability to learn and adapt to new processes
