Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain database servers.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize for efficiency.
  • Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures.
  • Ensure data security and implement access controls.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams on database design and integration.
  • Maintain database documentation.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Understanding of database security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in data backup and recovery techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
