Key Responsibilities

As a member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing innovative programming ideas to engage and entertain our listeners
* Conducting research and gathering information to stay up-to-date on current events and trends in Nigeria
* Collaborating with other team members to create high-quality content, including news, music, and talk shows
* Presenting live on-air programs, including news, current affairs, and entertainment shows
* Engaging with listeners through social media and other interactive platforms
* Participating in promotional activities, including events and sponsorships, to promote the station and its programs
* Maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity, adhering to the station’s code of conduct and ethical standards
* Contributing to the development of the station’s strategic plan, including setting goals and objectives for programming and content development

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
* A degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field
* Proven experience in radio broadcasting, either on-air or behind-the-scenes
* Strong knowledge of the Nigerian media landscape, including current events, trends, and cultural nuances
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and entertain audiences
* Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks and responsibilities
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals
* Proficiency in social media and other digital platforms, with the ability to engage with listeners and promote the station’s content
