Job Overview

The Tender Manager will lead the end-to-end tender process for Drilling and Completions Fluids, from pre-qualification and proposal development to contract negotiation and award. This role requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, fluid services, and commercial acumen to secure profitable business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive tender strategies to maximize win rates.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the preparation of compelling and accurate tender submissions.
  • Analyze client requirements and market trends to tailor proposals effectively.
  • Manage proposal timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and submissions are of the highest quality.
  • Conduct commercial and technical risk assessments for tender opportunities.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure favorable outcomes for Baker Hughes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in tender management within the oil and gas industry, specifically with drilling or completion fluids.
  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, wellbore construction, and production optimization.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in tender management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
