Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for our clients
* Follow established recipes and menus, while also contributing to the development of new and innovative dishes
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards
* Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of meals
* Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute large-scale catering events and functions
* Monitor and control food costs, reducing waste and optimizing menu planning
* Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our clients’ dietary requirements and preferences
* Assist with menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Industrial Cook or in a similar role, preferably in a catering or food service environment
* Completion of a culinary arts program or equivalent training and experience
* Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances
* Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment
* Basic math skills and ability to manage inventory and control food costs
