Job Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring profitability, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering a positive work environment. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and proven management capabilities, with a specific emphasis on effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including Chinese-speaking business partners and local teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve organizational objectives and financial targets.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently met and exceeded.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, revenue management, and cost control.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, local authorities, and the Yimei Group headquarters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations and Yimei Group policies.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives to enhance occupancy and revenue.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, preferably with international hotel chains.
• Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and achieving financial goals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is essential.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Strong understanding of hotel financial management and operational systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
