Job Overview

The Fleet & Monitoring Officer (Tracking) will be instrumental in ensuring the real-time visibility and security of our fleet operations. This role involves utilizing advanced tracking systems to monitor vehicle performance, optimize routes, and enhance overall operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GPS tracking systems for the company’s fleet.
• Monitor vehicle locations, speeds, and routes in real-time.
• Identify and report any deviations from planned routes or unauthorized stops.
• Generate regular reports on fleet activity, driver behavior, and vehicle status.
• Respond to and document alerts and incidents requiring immediate attention.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to address logistical challenges.
• Assist in the investigation of any discrepancies or security breaches.
• Maintain accurate records of all tracking-related activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fleet monitoring and tracking operations.
• Proficiency in using GPS tracking software and associated technologies.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
