Job Overview

ExCare Services is looking to recruit enthusiastic Pharmacist Interns to contribute to our high standards of pharmaceutical care within our Lagos, Nigeria facilities. This internship will provide invaluable hands-on experience across various facets of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide patient counselling on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper stock management.
  • Participate in medication reconciliation processes.
  • Uphold all professional and ethical standards of pharmacy practice.
  • Assist with the preparation of extemporaneous preparations and compounding.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy environment.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognised institution.
  • Current registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) as an intern.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
