Job Overview

As an Engineering Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering initiatives, working collaboratively with experienced technicians and engineers. Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with senior engineering staff and technicians on a variety of technical projects, gaining practical experience in system development and maintenance.
* Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new features and functionalities for Lextorah’s educational platform.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support for system-related challenges under the guidance of experienced mentors.
* Participate in code reviews, offering insights and learning best practices for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
* Contribute to the documentation of technical processes, system architectures, and troubleshooting guides.
* Learn and apply various programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to our technology stack.
* Engage in research and development activities to explore new technologies and innovative solutions that can enhance our educational offerings.
* Support the continuous improvement of our engineering workflows and methodologies.

Requirements

* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* A strong foundational understanding of programming principles and at least one common programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
* A proactive attitude, a strong desire to learn, and a commitment to professional development.
* Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts is a plus.
