Job Overview
As a Deposit Mobilization Officer at Elizabeth Maddeux Limited, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and revenue streams by strategically attracting and securing new deposits. This position demands a proactive and analytical individual who can identify opportunities, build strong relationships with potential clients, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our financial services. You will be instrumental in driving deposit growth, contributing directly to the financial health and strategic objectives of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for identifying and acquiring new deposit accounts from individuals, businesses, and institutional clients.
* Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities within the Nigerian financial sector.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
* Present and articulate the benefits and features of our deposit products and services to potential clients through effective sales pitches and presentations.
* Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure favorable deposit agreements that align with company objectives.
* Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities aimed at increasing deposit mobilization.
* Monitor and analyze deposit portfolio performance, identifying trends and implementing adjustments to strategies as needed to achieve growth targets.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies throughout the deposit acquisition process.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or client relationship management within the financial services industry.
* Strong understanding of banking products, financial markets, and deposit-gathering strategies.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
