Job Overview

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that ARM Hold Co.’s operations adhere to all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policies. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of the Nigerian financial services landscape, particularly in insurance, and a commitment to fostering a culture of compliance and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Conduct regular compliance training for staff.
  • Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting.
  • Manage risk assessments related to compliance.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, preferably within the financial services sector in Nigeria.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian insurance regulations and AML/CFT guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional certifications in compliance are a plus.
