Job Overview

The Clinical Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating clinical operations within APIN’s program sites. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment protocols in the Nigerian context. The Clinical Coordinator will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services and contribute to the overall success of APIN’s initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and mentorship to clinical teams at assigned program sites.
  • Ensure adherence to national and international guidelines for HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment.
  • Monitor clinical data collection, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new clinical strategies and protocols.
  • Liaise with facility management and stakeholders to address operational challenges.
  • Support capacity building initiatives for healthcare workers.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Post-graduate qualification in Public Health, Infectious Diseases, or a related field is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical management, preferably within the HIV/AIDS sector.
  • Proven experience in program coordination and supervision.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian healthcare system and public health landscape.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
