Job Overview
The Business Development Manager (International Business) will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on new international market opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for Proforce Limited beyond its established African footprint. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of international markets, defense procurement, and export strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new international markets for Proforce’s product and service offerings.
- Develop and implement comprehensive international business development strategies.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with international clients, distributors, and government entities.
- Negotiate and close international sales contracts and partnerships.
- Conduct market research to understand competitive landscapes and customer needs in target regions.
- Represent Proforce Limited at international trade shows, conferences, and diplomatic engagements.
- Monitor and report on international sales performance and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services internationally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in international business development, preferably within the defence or automotive sectors.
- Strong understanding of international trade, export regulations, and geopolitical landscapes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel internationally extensively.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
- Strategic thinking and strong analytical capabilities.
