Job Overview

The Assistant Business Development Officer will play a crucial role in supporting Kontz Engineering’s growth objectives. This position involves assisting in identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the development and execution of strategic business development initiatives within the Nigerian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging industry trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and tender documents.
  • Support the Business Development team in client engagement and relationship management.
  • Coordinate meetings and follow-up actions with prospective clients and partners.
  • Maintain and update client databases and business development records.
  • Assist in tracking sales leads and progress through the sales pipeline.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian business landscape is an advantage.
