Natera is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Medical Director to lead our Genitourinary (GU) Oncology initiatives. Job Overview

The Medical Director, GU Oncology will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to guide Natera’s efforts in GU cancer. You will translate scientific advancements and market needs into actionable strategies, focusing on developing and validating innovative diagnostic solutions for the prevention, diagnosis, and monitoring of GU malignancies. This role requires a deep understanding of GU oncology, molecular diagnostics, and the healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and scientific leadership for Natera’s GU oncology portfolio.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for product development and lifecycle management.
• Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical investigators in GU oncology.
• Contribute to clinical trial design, execution, and interpretation of results.
• Support regulatory submissions and market access initiatives.
• Stay abreast of emerging research and technological advancements in GU oncology and diagnostics.
• Represent Natera at scientific conferences and industry events.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Oncology, Urology, or a related specialty.
• Extensive experience in GU oncology, with a strong publication record.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or industry setting.
• In-depth knowledge of molecular diagnostics and their application in oncology.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 50% of the time.
