Human Capital Partners (HCP) is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Academics to lead our educational initiatives in Nigeria. Job Overview

The Head of Academics will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and operational oversight of all academic programs and offerings at Human Capital Partners in Nigeria. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of curriculum design, adult learning principles, and the Nigerian educational landscape. You will lead a team of educators and subject matter experts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive academic strategy aligned with HCP’s mission and market demands.
  • Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of curricula for all academic programs and certifications.
  • Manage and mentor a team of academic staff, subject matter experts, and trainers.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional learning experiences, fostering innovation and pedagogical excellence.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance frameworks to guarantee the highest standards of academic delivery.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with educational institutions and industry bodies.
  • Monitor academic performance, gather feedback, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in education and professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 7-10 years in academic leadership, curriculum development, and program management.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Nigerian educational or professional development sector.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans effectively.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources for academic programs.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems is a plus.
