Job Overview

The Fiber Field Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the resort’s fiber optic network infrastructure, ensuring high-speed and reliable connectivity for all guest services and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables and equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections of the fiber network.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues promptly.
• Conduct site surveys to plan and implement new fiber installations.
• Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing techniques.
• Understanding of fiber optic network design and architecture.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
