Job Overview

The Purchase Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required for CWAY Nigeria’s operations. This role is crucial in maintaining supply chain efficiency and supporting the company’s production and distribution goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide the purchasing team in daily operations.
  • Develop and implement efficient procurement strategies and processes.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and budget constraints.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment.
  • Prepare and present purchasing reports to management.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Supervisor or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the FMCG or beverage industry is an advantage.
