Job Overview
As the Head of Product Design, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for all product design initiatives at Capcade. You will lead and mentor a talented team of designers, ensuring the consistent delivery of intuitive, engaging, and user-centric experiences across our platform. This role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, and strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the product design vision and strategy for Capcade.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Oversee the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and final implementation.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to translate business goals into compelling user experiences.
Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle.
Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior product design leadership role, managing and mentoring design teams.
A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional product design and user experience work.
Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
Experience with agile development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant design and prototyping tools.
