Job Overview

The Assistant Warehouse Head will support the Warehouse Head in overseeing all warehouse activities, including inventory management, stock control, receiving, dispatch, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Support inventory counting, reconciliation, and stock control procedures.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Aid in maintaining warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Head on staff scheduling and task delegation.
  • Assist in supervising warehouse personnel and providing on-the-job training.

    • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision.
