Job Overview

The Area Sales Manager, East will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within the designated region. This individual will lead and motivate a sales team, foster strong customer relationships, and ensure exceptional product representation and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize market share in the East region.
  • Manage, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure efficient product distribution within the area.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the FMCG sector in Nigeria.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and achieve targets.
  • Deep understanding of the Eastern Nigerian market landscape.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
