The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), in partnership with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), is offering FREE business registration for eligible Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria.

This initiative helps entrepreneurs formalize their businesses at no cost, improve credibility, and unlock access to government and private-sector opportunities.

Who can apply?

Applicants must have:

• A valid e-signature
• A passport photograph (soft copy)
• An active email address

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Register on SMEDAN

Click on the “APPLY NOW” button above

You will be directed to the SMEDAN Portal where you will signup
Create an account and complete your SMEDAN registration.

Step 2: Continue to CAC

After successful registration, a CAC continuation link will appear on your dashboard.

Step 3: Complete CAC Registration

Click the CAC link and follow the instructions to finalize your business registration.
