About the European Union Traineeship Programme 2026

The European Union Traineeship Programme 2026 is designed for young graduates who are eager to understand how diplomatic missions operate. Selected trainees will be placed in the Political, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Nigeria.

This traineeship will begin in July 2026 and run for a period of up to six months. During this time, participants will support activities related to policy communication, media engagement, and public information.

Eligibility Criteria for European Union Traineeship Programme 2026

• Must be a Nigerian citizen
• Must currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria
• Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Must have less than one year of professional experience after graduation
