Programme Structure

The African Academy for Women in Political Leadership 2026 Fully Funded programme runs for four weeks in a blended learning format.

Virtual Learning Phase

Residential Convening in Kigali Rwanda

Eligibility Criteria

• Be at least 21 years old
• Show political engagement or clear leadership ambition

• Be fully available for the programme duration

Selection Process

Cohort Details

• Maximum of 30 participants
• Representation from all African regions
• Maximum of 2 participants per country
• At least 40 percent young women aged 21 to 35
