Job Overview
The Zonal Team Lead will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of Ignite Energy Access operations within their assigned zone. This includes leading a team, ensuring project success, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and impact of the organization in Abu Dhabi and the wider region.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve zonal objectives aligned with Ignite's mission.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local government bodies, partners, and community stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities for expansion and growth within the zone.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and Ignite's operational policies.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on zonal progress and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, team leadership, and operational oversight, preferably within the energy or development sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving ambitious targets.
- Excellent understanding of the renewable energy landscape and its challenges in emerging markets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English is a significant advantage.
