Job Overview
The Solar Electrical Technician will be instrumental in the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of our state-of-the-art solar refrigeration systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, a strong understanding of electrical principles, and a commitment to ensuring the reliable operation of our cold rooms.Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission solar PV systems and refrigeration units.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and refrigeration faults.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks on all equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site operators.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably with solar installations.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
