Job Overview
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer I, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Braze's critical infrastructure and services. You'll partner with engineering teams to design resilient systems, implement monitoring solutions, and drive operational excellence across our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions supporting millions of customer interactions
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to detect and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish SLOs, SLIs, and incident response procedures
- Automate operational tasks and reduce manual toil through infrastructure-as-code practices
- Conduct postmortems and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of site reliability engineering or DevOps experience
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
