Job Overview
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Duplo, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the highly available and scalable systems that underpin our financial services platform. You will champion SRE principles, driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of reliability across our engineering organization.Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Develop and maintain automated solutions for deployment, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Proactively identify and address potential performance bottlenecks and reliability issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate SRE best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Contribute to the evolution of our observability stack, including logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Mentor junior engineers on SRE principles and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, or similar).
- Solid understanding of networking principles and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
