Job Overview
The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing global procurement strategies for corporate and professional services, including but not limited to IT, HR, legal, consulting, travel, and facilities management. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex procurement processes, mitigating risks, and achieving cost savings while upholding the highest ethical standards.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global procurement strategies for corporate and professional services categories.
- Lead sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management processes.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with IRC policies and donor regulations.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and value for money across service contracts.
- Manage supplier performance and build strong relationships with key vendors.
- Provide guidance and support to country and regional teams on procurement best practices.
- Analyze market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with ethical procurement standards and anti-corruption policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in global procurement, with a focus on corporate and professional services.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
- Strong understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a humanitarian or non-profit sector is a plus.
