Job Overview
As Senior Manager of Fund Administration (Accounting), you will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance functions for our fund administration services. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on accounting expertise, requiring you to manage a team while ensuring accurate, timely financial delivery for our clients in the private markets space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and operational excellence
- Oversee fund accounting, financial statements preparation, and regulatory compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple funds
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with industry standards
- Ensure accurate NAV calculations and investor reporting
- Collaborate with portfolio companies and external auditors
- Monitor internal controls and maintain audit-ready documentation
Requirements
- 7+ years of fund accounting or similar experience
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
- Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
- Leadership and team management experience
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
