Job Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer at Lemon.io, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data solutions for our client companies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, implement best practices, and ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions and data models.
- Implement and manage data infrastructure, including databases, data lakes, and cloud-based services.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various data sources.
- Collaborate with software engineers and analysts to integrate data into applications and business intelligence tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Contribute to the architectural design and technology selection for data solutions.
- Mentor junior data engineers and promote data engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with various database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
