Job Overview
We are seeking a QA Engineer II to join Cavista's quality assurance team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based software solutions. You will work collaboratively with development and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects while maintaining high standards throughout our software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications
- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and environments
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate QA tools and systems
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize and resolve quality issues
- Conduct regression testing and validate fixes to ensure product stability
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies
- Participate in code reviews and provide quality assurance feedback
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Experience with cloud-based applications preferred
