Job Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of malaria control projects within Nigeria. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of public health project management in the Nigerian context.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project work plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
- Monitor project progress against objectives and report on key indicators.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including government officials, local partners, and donors.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and future programming.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Project Management, Development Studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably in the health sector in Nigeria.
- Proven experience in managing complex donor-funded projects.
- Strong understanding of malaria control strategies and the Nigerian health system.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
