Job Overview
The Procurement Supervisor will oversee procurement operations at the Longmeadow location, ensuring efficient sourcing, purchasing and inventory management of quality products. You will manage supplier relationships, optimise procurement processes and contribute to cost-effective operations whilst maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate procurement activities and purchasing staff
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards
- Manage purchase orders, contracts and supplier agreements
- Monitor inventory levels and optimise stock management
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Analyse spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement requirements
Requirements
- Proven procurement or supply chain management experience
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with procurement systems and MS Office
- Grade 12 qualification; tertiary qualification advantageous
