Job Overview
We are looking for a proficient Power & Electrical Technician to support the operational efficiency and technical integrity of our solar energy infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and a proven ability to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of power and electrical equipment.Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar power systems and associated electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical components and systems according to specifications.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures during work execution.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers on complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Power & Electrical Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with DC and AC power systems, inverters, and solar panels is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
