Job Overview
The Non-Commodity Procurement Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of indirect procurement activities within Olam Agri's Ilorin operations. This includes developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for non-commodity items.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and contracts.
- Manage supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of end-to-end procurement experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or multinational environments is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
