Job Overview
The Network System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our network systems and servers. This role requires a proactive approach to system management, security best practices, and performance optimization to support Proten's global operations and its commitment to human capital development.Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Manage and monitor server operating systems (Windows/Linux) and related services.
- Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Ensure network performance and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.
