Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Fund Administration with a strong accounting background to join our team. In this remote role, you will oversee fund accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple fund structures. You'll work cross-functionally with investment, legal, and operations teams to support seamless fund management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily fund accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and review fund financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reports
- Oversee reconciliation of fund accounts and resolution of accounting discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Lead and mentor accounting staff within the fund administration function
- Coordinate with external auditors and service providers on reporting and compliance matters
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in fund accounting or related financial operations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- CPA or relevant accounting credential preferred
