Job Overview
The Head of Trust will oversee the establishment, development, and management of our trust and fiduciary services operations. This senior leadership role is critical to expanding our capabilities in wealth management and providing comprehensive trust solutions to our diverse client base across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive trust services strategy aligned with organisational objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage the trust and fiduciary services team
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and international trust standards
- Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients
- Oversee trust administration, asset management, and fiduciary obligations
- Drive revenue growth and profitability within the trust services division
- Establish operational frameworks and internal controls for trust management
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in trust management or fiduciary services
- Advanced qualification in law, finance, or related discipline
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of African financial markets and regulatory environments
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Professional certification (CFA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
