Job Overview
The Grid Interconnection Project Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the grid interconnection process for Soluna's renewable energy projects, from initial feasibility studies through to commissioning and energization. This includes managing stakeholder relationships, navigating regulatory frameworks, and ensuring technical compliance for successful grid integration.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive grid interconnection strategies and project plans.
- Manage all phases of the interconnection process, including application, design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Liaise with utility companies, grid operators, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely approvals.
- Oversee the technical aspects of interconnection, including substation design, protection schemes, and SCADA integration.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet project milestones.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with grid interconnection.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex grid interconnection projects for renewable energy assets.
- In-depth understanding of grid codes, interconnection standards, and utility requirements.
