Job Overview

- Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring all customer accounts are up-to-date.
- Proactively follow up on overdue invoices through various communication channels.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers within established guidelines.
- Identify and report on accounts with potential credit risks.
- Reconcile customer statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance departments to manage customer credit limits.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and credit control activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in credit control and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
