Job Overview

As a Youth Researcher at YLabs, you will actively participate in and contribute to participatory research initiatives. You will be instrumental in gathering qualitative and quantitative data directly from young people, ensuring research methodologies are culturally relevant and accessible. Your work will provide essential, community-driven insights to inform the development and refinement of youth-centered programs across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews, focus groups, and surveys with diverse youth populations.
  • Facilitate participatory research sessions, ensuring active youth engagement.
  • Document research findings accurately and objectively.
  • Contribute to data analysis and interpretation from a youth perspective.
  • Provide feedback on research tools and methodologies.
  • Support the dissemination of research findings to stakeholders.
  • Requirements

  • Residency and strong familiarity with youth communities in Nigeria.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
