The Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) is a dynamic non-governmental coalition dedicated to transforming Nigeria into a food and nutrition-secure nation. Since our launch in 2014, we have mobilized government and non-state actors to combat under-nutrition through awareness campaigns, advocacy, and sustained commitment. We are seeking a passionate Youth Advocate to amplify our mission and engage young people as agents of change in Nigeria’s nutrition landscape.

Job Overview

The Youth Advocate will serve as a bridge between CS-SUNN and youth communities across Nigeria, mobilizing young people to champion nutrition security and food systems transformation. This role requires dynamic engagement, strategic communication, and grassroots mobilization to inspire youth participation in our nutrition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement youth-focused advocacy strategies and campaigns
• Mobilize and organize youth networks for nutrition awareness activities
• Create engaging digital and multimedia content for youth engagement
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on nutrition and food security
• Monitor and report on youth participation metrics and campaign effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Proven experience in youth engagement and advocacy
• Strong communication and social media skills
• Passion for nutrition and food security issues
