Job Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers and onboarding new employees. This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified professionals to meet Matna Foods’ diverse staffing needs, contributing significantly to the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment plans.
• Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media, and professional networks.
• Maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Stay abreast of market trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar recruitment role.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian labor market is an advantage.
