A fast-growing food brand is seeking a Social Media & Content Strategist to join their team in Ajah, Lagos. This full-time hybrid role is perfect for creative professionals who are passionate about social media, storytelling, and content planning to drive engagement and brand visibility.

The ideal candidate will plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms while supporting marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.

Job Overview

The Social Media & Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that enhance the brand’s online presence, attract new customers, and boost engagement. The role requires a mix of creativity, data-driven decision making, and strong social media knowledge.

Candidates must reside in or near the Ajah environs to be considered.

Salary

  • ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop a social media content calendar aligned with brand goals
  • Plan campaigns to boost engagement, brand awareness, and sales
  • Conduct competitor research and monitor social media trends

Content Creation & Management

  • Create engaging posts, visuals, and copy for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Edit photos, videos, and graphics to maintain high-quality standards
  • Repurpose content for different digital channels

Audience Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and user interactions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with followers and online communities

Performance Analysis

  • Track engagement metrics, impressions, and conversions
  • Analyze performance data to improve content strategy and growth
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align social media efforts with campaigns

Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • BA/BSc/HND or OND in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field

Experience

  • 1 – 2 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing

Skills

  • Strong storytelling, editing, and content planning abilities
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
