Job Overview

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will act as the primary link between the project management team, contractors, and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, labourers, and other site staff.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, including progress updates, material usage, and any encountered challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
  • Manage site logistics, including material procurement, delivery, and storage.
  • Liaise with the project manager and stakeholders to provide timely updates on project status.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
