Job Overview

The Senior Associate (Strategy and Delivery) will play a crucial role in supporting HSDF’s mission by contributing to the design, development, and implementation of health sector strategies. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a practical understanding of project execution in a complex development environment. You will work closely with senior leadership and project teams to ensure the effective delivery of HSDF’s initiatives and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and operational frameworks for health sector programs.
  • Provide analytical support for policy analysis, situational assessments, and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of project monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Support the management of project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Draft reports, presentations, and other communication materials for diverse audiences.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in project delivery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in strategy development, program management, or health sector consulting.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian health system and its challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
