We are seeking a motivated Education Coordinator to contribute to our vital work.

Job Overview

The Education Coordinator will play a crucial role in the implementation and management of Save the Children’s education programs in Nigeria. This position requires a proactive individual to support project activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure the effective delivery of educational initiatives aimed at improving learning outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project work plans and activities aligned with program objectives.
  • Coordinate with local partners, government agencies, and community leaders to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate program progress, collecting data and documenting lessons learned.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project staff and beneficiaries.
  • Organize and facilitate training workshops and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Contribute to reporting and communication efforts for the education program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program coordination and implementation within the development sector, preferably in education.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian education landscape.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
